UPA6-30M is a normal viscosity, heat stabilized polyamide-6, 30% carbon fiber reinforced. UPA6-30M has high strength and stiffness with ESD and el.conductive properties.

General processing recommendations

UPA6-30M can be processed under the following recommended conditions. Adjusting modes of processing may be recommended depending on the specific issues related to the design, dimensions, appearance and/or processing method and equipment used.

Melt temperature at extrusion    225-250 °C

Melt temperature at injection moulding    230-280 °C

UPA6-30M drying is required to ensure the moisture content no higher than 2000 ppm during the processing.

Prolonged dwell times for the melts in the extruder should be avoided.

Lower temperatures has to be settled up for the idling time.

Storage and handling

UPA6-30M should be stored at room temperature and normal atmospheric pressure in original packaging (plastic bags 25 kg, octabin boxes or 1000 kg big-bags).

The product should be stored in dry, well ventilated areas. It is also recommended to avoid prolonged storage at extreme temperatures and humid environment.

It is recommended to use the product within 12 months after delivery, at appropriate storage conditions. For more information, please apply to the Safety Data Sheet.
